  • BatteryTech requires you to buy a full Macintosh development system, install and learn XCode, etc - hallmarks of transitional cross platform tools (of which there are quite a few). The point of the video was to show how HTML5 JS and some third party tools unify everything and are well on the way to replacing transitional tools like Unity and BatteryTech.

  • When you build the final app, you can choose for iOS or Android. If you choose Android, you get an Android App Store ready APK file back.

  • You'll need to hook up with someone who can work with HTML and Javascript who can help you create the game. You might try posting a query at our support forums - lots of devs there.

  • iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, also any Android 2.0 or greater phone or tablets.

  • Recently changed our pricing model. All dev tools are now free, and you get a free sample kit of cloud services to try out.

  • @exath1 the engine is worth FAR more than $100. This is just showing off the level editor, not the actual js files / documentation. Impact can do way more than what this video illustrates.

  • @jlkniper this is just showing off the level editor that comes with the engine.

  • @appMobi does it work with touchscreen?

  • how do you make a fighting game?

  • lol a company making a marketing video and then tries to be unbiased .....lol what a fail company

  • @theCourtFool Until Adobe says they are no longer trying to port Flash for mobile devices. Oh wait they already said that.

  • btw good job :)

  • may I ask you what language did you use to make this program? please replay :)

  • @exath1 $100 is a small investment compared to having to buy (at minimum) a Mac Mini and an iPhone to compile your own program. Hopefully your game would be decent enough to sell at least a couple hundred copies.
