How come the custom models of the weapons never actually show in-game on the SLAG server?

I would actually like to see the flamethrower put in the game. might actually balance the pyro community a bit more. same with the sniper weapon, although it could be a little unbalanced by snipers climbing so high that no one can get them but other snipers. would be a big damper for spies. btw, do you accept ideas for weapons?
