Shiny pokemon! It finally shines after 3600 encounters found on 1/24/10 Leafgreen.

This shiny was caught on 1/24/10, making it my 311th species of shiny found, 15 days after finding my 5th 3rd gen, shiny Tangela. Today after catching shiny raticate and uploading the video, I decided to keep searching for shiny Slugma after having already done 3524 encounters without any luck. Surprisingly, after 15 minutes and 76 encounters in the wild at Mt. Ember, while laying in bed, getting up and walking around, and finally setting down in the family room and watching Predator 2 at 4:38PM, shiny Slugma appeared (bashful nature). Before finding this shiny, I was actually thinking of stopping my search again, just like with shiny Tangela, but I decided to do a few more encounters. When it finally shined I was so glad that the 12 hour search was finally over and worth all the effort.

This makes 15 shiny encounters with the odds of 1 in 8192 or 8 in 65536.

Back when Ruby came out, I use to actively search for random shiny pokemon. The 1st shiny that I found was a shiny Nincada, while talking to my older sister one after noon in our kitchen about trying to find my 1st shiny ever. Ironically, it happened on that day. I will never forget that day as long as I live. I ended up on evolving it in ruby to Ninjask and Shedinja in order to get 2 shinnies for the price of one. I wish I hadn't only because it was my 1st shiny ever.

When LeafGreen came out, I found a shiny Sentret (10/6/06), then a shiny Marowak (10/24/06), and 3rd shiny geodude (2/16/07) all on seven island, while at work and all around 10:00AM during my daily break. Most recently shiny Tangela on 1/9/10 after 36 minutes and 180 encounters in the wild on route 21, while in my room updating videos on youtube at 8:38PM.

While playing Diamond I found: Shiny Bidoof

While chaining on Diamond/Pearl/Platinum I found a non-shiny patch: Shiny Buizel at chain 1, Shiny Numel at chain 5, Shiny Bibarel at chain 0, Shiny Shinx at chain 21, Shiny Roselia that broke my chain of 22 cleffa (don't have a video of this one, darn), Shiny Snover at chain 11, Shiny Geodude at chain 0, and Shiny Pichu at chain 0.

@Z33 gratz on the shiny! =] I`ve gotten 380 pokemon in my pokedex including 6 shinies (Tentacruel,Haunter,Unown,Lino­one,Aggraon, and Medicham) But I was wondering how u got 384 in your pokedex without cheating... (I`m also 4 stars in my ruby)

I bought a used soul silvergame, and i see that there is already a saved game on it. Me looking in the pokebox and what did i find? a fucking shiny, arceus, celebi, dialga, red gyarados, shiny sneasel, shiny tentacool, and 900 masterballs and 900 rare candy`s!. Its fucking insane if something like that will happen to you!

Yesterday I was searching for a Skitty and a Shiny Nincada appeared. It has a Jolly nature which is the best nature for it's evolved form, Ninjask.
