I'm not Sure how to take this as a gay man. Part of me finds this funny but part of me is offended about it.

@MrSponge1985 I've heard the same from other gay men. I ran this by 6 gay (theater) friends of mine who loved it and contributed to it and have heard from many strangers who LOVED it and want me to adopt them. A typical gay man who doesn't live to sing show tunes might be bugged. Please know that I wrote it to say that if one of my sons were gay, I would CELEBRATE who he is and never just "accept" or "tolerate" him. But with my luck he wouldn't be the shopping type. I'd still adore him.

@usaf317 10% of the general population is gay. And this is a comedy song, with a sense of humor and irony as well as love and acceptance. I don't actually wish my sons to be anything but who they were born to be. I hope that answers your question. While I don't wish the hardships and prejudice that gay people experience on anyone, I also wouldn't wish a life of dishonesty or secrecy on my children, either.

Ha, yeah... Thats the funny thing about morality, now isn't it: nobody seems able to agree on just what the f* it is.

My guess is that you have very little understanding of the Western ethical constructs that guide our moral understanding, and that your idea of morality is a bronze-age moral framework from an ancient book that you read to suit your own interest.
