Have you ever gone past a venue where McFly are playing the next day and seen the girls camping outside it? Ever wondered what their lives are like and what they've been through to get there? No, you probably haven't - you've either not cared or have wet yourself laughing at them. However, here's the video anyway for those who have walked past the queueing fangirls and thought "WHY? Why ARE they doing this?!"
This is a little video diary documenting the time my friends and I spent camping out for McFly on the first night of their "Up Close and This Time It's Personal" Tour at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on the 21st April 2009.
(YES, I know I spelt Wolverhampton wrong. If only I'd spent more time in school and less time listening to McFly...)

OMFGG , I camped outside wembley arena in November in the freezingg cold , and i didnt get to meet mcfly :( , iv been tryingg for yearsss , does anyone know where you get the backstage passes from ? good vid btw :) x

We just stood around the stage door the night before and the next day before the band arrived! Nice and easy! Tom made things even easier for us by saying on Twitter when the band had left the hotel and were on their way! :D
