  • @moaski Diesel is more efficient MPG, and is only cleaner in some ways.

But for racing it is terrible. For the same displacement a gas engine will produce way more power and weigh hundreds of pounds less.

The only reason the Audi R10, or other diesel LMP cars, win any races is the advantage given in the racing class.

  • @TheOfficialKC You are a nocice. Diesel is much more efficient, reliable and cleaner burning than gas engines. The Audi R10 diesel won it's first race at Sebring and then moved on to winning LeMans four years straight.

  • Diesel is not good for racing. It is too heavy and doesn't make enough power. Diesel is great for trucks and heavy equipment: Semi-trucks, tractors, etc.

For sports cars, gas is the best.

  • i want one

  • Very sick, considering if you know a lot about Diesel engine's. Keep up the good work, I'm in the process of fixing up my own Chevy S-10 just like the one you guys have set up to race.
