  • Lets see.

    I used both half-wawes of 50Hz AC - so I have 100Hz.

    Then:

1st decatron (Downer left) devides 100Hz AC to 10Hz.

2nd decatron (Downer right) devides 10Hz to 1Hz.

    Then follows clock decatrons.

    Read comments from the begining.

WE HAVE 50Hz AC IN RUSSIA.

  • Read commemts from the begining more careful.

    I`ve already explained this.

I`m from Russia, so we have 50Hz in our AC.

  • Decatrons - A-101.

    IN-24 between tubes.

  • Thank you

You've done an excellent job in creating this clock. As the A-101 is a selector-type tube, all cathodes are brought out and are available for generating a pulse at any counter modulo. Who has sockets for the A-101? This is sort of an impediment for using the A-101 in the US.

I would like to echo rjpop42's question and ask what your circuitry looks like for generating propagate/reset pulses between counter stages.

  • @SLvik78

Yes i understand how you obtain the 1Hz signal to drive the seconds, then every 10 seconds the next dekatron pulses and the first one (single digits for seconds) resets, but what causes the second tube (ten's digits) to reset to zero and pulse out to the next one after only 6 input signals?

  • Music is probably final song from soviet film "Magiya chernaya i belaya"

Why so much people are surprised about "6" divider in [nonexistent] 60 Hz, while second and minute counters use "6" decatron positions, too?

  • @SLvik78 Thank you :)

This might not be the place to get into this, but how'd you wire the divide by 6 logic for the 10 seconds to minuets and the 10 minuets to hours?

  • What is the dekatrons model, and what are you using between the nixie tubes?
