In September 2006, the Sustainable Buildings Division of the UK Governments department for Communities and Local Government, commissioned BRE to carry out a three year project on Fire Spread in Car Parks.
Fires in car parks were, and remain, rare and, although there have been few deaths or injuries recorded to date in the UK, there has been concerns regarding new and emerging risks from modern cars and alternative fuels.

@Toni7859 The headlights coming on is actually caused by something completing a circuit. Melting plastic wire insulation would be my guess. Eventually, it would have came in contact with a negative wire and shorted out.

@MIKCURIE It would be better to just use write offs that were auctioned off at deeply discounted prices due to cost prohibitive accident damage.

The good thing about NIMBUS is that it can be fitted to a vehicle that can enter a multi story car park and set up for a credible attack on the fire from a safe staging point extremely quickly.
