Paul Rego's work is, well and truly, GREAT; truly one of the 'best' drawers that ever yet lived. Her work is 'realistic'; yet, very highly imaginative; and, each picture tells it's own story. Something about her style is totally 'unique'. I actually thought she was a much bigger woman than she actually is; as she ooks to be really quite slim; indeed, if not downright skinny; maybe, that's because she's gotten older, now. There's something about her/and, her work that's really rather SCARY!

I FELL IN LOVE A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN I SAW HER RETROSPECITVE AT QUEEN SOPHIAS MUSEUM IN MADRID. BLEW MY MIND. I STAYED FOR HOURS. AND THEY HAVE GREATLY INSPIRED ME AS A THEATER DIRECTOR
