I have heard there was not a 2011 edition of Rock N' India this year (Yes, it is called Rock N' India instead of Rock in India). It was cancelled because the promoter DNA Networks suffered heavy losses from low ticket sales in New Delhi and Bangalore from the 2010 edition last year. Further it was reported the fest will be incorporated into the Sonisphere Festival kicking off this year in Bangalore.

There is no prob in BSB coming to India. Let them come and perform. But why should they be headlined for a rock concert? Iron Maiden and Megadeth headlined for the previous editions and now what do metal fans get ? BSB :(

FYI: Its called 'ROCK' in India and not 'POP' in India. Well those ar$eh0le$ @ DNA should change the name now i guess. This is a total disgrace to all the metal fans here in India.

There are many genres of music. Pop lovers don't go scrambling concert pages of Metal musicians. BSB are loved by a lot of Indians and they loved the opportunity to see them live.Why spew so much hatred on it. You DO get your dose of Megadeth ,Iron Maiden etc. Why hate those,who wait for the foreign acts of other genres?Show a little tolerance.
