I'm one of the people in the video and work for Mclaren. The music is our house by madness and it was Mclaren marketing that didn't use the music for copyrite reasons. Great fun making this but one of the hardest few days of my career on this back to back. Valencia to spa was the worst.

If anyone seriously believes that McLaren put up this video without having proper copyright clearance on the track then, I'm afraid, they really don't know very much about this extraordinary - and extraordinarily detail-conscious - organisation.
It seems YouTube don't have any obvious way to say "yes, I have the rights for this usage", which is a bit dumb :)

WHY THE FUCK can't Warner Music Group and You Tube come to an agreement to allow people to use WMG songs in their videos?! Every other record company does!
Why is it copyright infringement? Coz it's without permission, but if it has the label's permission, it wouldn't be.
