0.1 cc gado, 10 cc 1% lido, 10 cc optiray

all mixed in a 20cc syringe

my question: isn't that a lot of lido for one mixture? can't you cut that in half and substitute the other half for saline?

@aznsketcher Yes, that's a very large amount of lido... Usually if we give lido with a therapeutic injection, we give up to 5 or 6 cc with the cocktail (e.g. 5cc lido, 5 cc saline, .1 cc gado). Also, I'm not sure why the radiologist diluted the gado to 1:200... The optimal mixture is 1:100.

I am 21 years old and had to have this procedure done on my right hip. I have had all different kinds of things done but this was the worst. I have never cried but this made me cry. Of corse since my hip was sore and hurting to start with probably didn't help either.

AAAHHHHHH!!! I'm having this done on Friday.. I'm already nervous as it is.. What has anyone used for the pain? I have a possible labrum tear in the shoulder and can't get any relief..

If you have kidney disease or suspect you might have a kidney disorder DO NOT LET ANYONE INJECT YOU WITH GADOLINIUM-it can cause NSF (Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis) Google it-BEWARE! Almost as bad as the Fluoroquinolones such as Levaquin, Cipro & Avelox casuing tendon damage in even the best of bodies! Beware & do your research before you let anyone test you for anything!

I had my left hip done last week and it hurt really bad.. I prob shoulnt have watched this video with me being soo grossed out about needles and all but I wanted to know what they did.. So yah!
