2008-2011. 'I know we can' ♥ *PLEASE WATCH :)*

first of, I know this is a whole 17 days early :| but I just realised the other day that, 08.07.2011, was not only three years from when I first rode Sparkie, but also 6 months since I last saw Swish, and I know for a fact I would never have the confidience to even ride Sparkie if it hadn't been for him! so, for some reason I felt the need to upload this now, somewhere in the middle of the two dates. Alsoooo, sony vegas trial only has 15 days left! :(
secondly, I would really appreciate it if you could comment on this video, because I really put a lot of time into it and I kinda like it :') oh and I found and edited all songs/quote by myself, sooooo! :P
thirdly, I have no 2010 clips, because, well, I lost them D:
fourthly and lastley ;) 2011-some unseen clips from the start of the year. I made the decision that me and Sparkie were ready for the next step up after he'd been going so well last year. On the 28th January, we went to our first bsja together. It was awful. In the practice ring, he would just shoot off into a flat out canter, stopped at every single jump and was unbelievably stressed, in fact I even got told "can you at least try to control your horse!". I was in tears before I even entered the ring, and things just went from bad to worse- we didn't even get over once jump. I completely lost my confidience in him- he just stopped at everything, on the ground he was nasty, rearing at you and being bargy, it took 6 people to hold him just for me to mount him back in March. Honestly did think I'd finally hit a wall with him and wasn't going to get around it. He did slowly start to get better, to the point where I could happily get him round a course at shows, but he'd still run out or put on the brakes if the jumps changed or went up and was unbelievably strong. Then, he was a prat running around the field on hard ground, and he went lame :/ A month ago now he came back into work and I can honestly say this pony has never gone so well for me in his life! He quite happily pops 1m5-1m courses, I can hack him out by himself, ride him bareback, tackless... the last show I went to he jumped the best double clear he has in a very long time and I couldn't have been more happy! I just hope things stay this way, because at the minute I couldn't ask for a better pony.. better riding however ;)

well done :D going amazingly now :') and idk about the height because 2ft9 is good not to push it incase anything bad happens but tbh its ging so well that you could probably do 3ft easily :) xxx

You and him are so bloody amazing, you really are. Don't let anyone tell you any different, I never knew you went through all of that! I guess all the good times covered his bad side up! So proud of you for not giving up and you should be proud of yourself, horses like that aren't easy! This is such a gorgeous video, gave me goosebumps, its amazing, like the both of you are! xxxx
