  • ACTUALLY there are plenty of things which represent the ghanaian culture. They sell TRADITIONAL GHANAIAN clothes. Trust me, I'VE BEEN THERE! So think before you speak.

  • @misslaure221 Did it occur to you that may be they are now selling traditional clothes because of constructive criticism like this video made years ago. The next time I am in Ghana I will do an update. Ghana is better today and will continue to get better because there are people who choose speak up and participate in its development. Those who just sit on their behinds and take whatever is dished out are of no good to Ghana; .... so take your own advise and think before you speak

  • I think all those ingnorant people out there have to go and reducate themselves before fartulating out of thier mouths .

One Mall !! People appreciate it and hope for more. Traditional items could be sold in a mall too. if you don't like the idea keep your opinion to yourself and go to mokola market. There should be mall in Ghana and in every city in Africa as well as street markets. Too much meat in the soup does not spoil it everyone has thier own taste at preference.

  • Hello ChiefKenneth,

If your idea of an ignorant person is the one that questions and critiques things as they are, then I feel sorry for you. I am glad that you accept the premise that there are differing ideas, tastes and preferences. Then accept my opinion that a Mall in Ghana should INCLUDE Ghanaian tastes and traditions and not simply copy western ideas. Have a pleasant day.

  • Let's stop stereotyping Africa. People saying that the mall takes away from the "natural experience"....do you guys know that there is only ONE western style mall in Accra (soon to be 2) so how is 1 mall out of dozens of busy and bustling markets, street traders and other vibrant experiences taking away from Accra/Ghana. Stereotypes are not good, doesn't matter if it is meant as a "back handed" compliment or not. If u knew about Ghana's development in the last 18 yrs u would understand this.

  • Great Video.I wonder when those Racist Bastards at the BBC will show it.

    I doubt it though.

Thanks for the post.Great to see Ghana going forward.

  • Respond to this video... and those westerners that have been to Ghana and see all the positives about the place and where it could go and what it could aspire too,, are disappointed when you take the lowest parts of western culture adopt them as development,,,,,,,,this has to be a concern.
