Hi! I heard this song in German class and I'm new to Die Ärtze and since they've released 20 albums I don't know where to start. Have you got any tips?! Any other German music I should know about? I already like Wir Sind Helden but they're much less hardcore than this lot!

the best thing to learn german with die ärzte is to start with the album "Geräusch" (which includes this song as well). if you're looking for the fun-punk stuff, try out "Planet Punk" (my favourite DÄ-album :P).

I think it's hard to find good german singing bands... but if you like die ärzte, have a look at "Die toten Hosen".

they are not really the german "green day" cover, their lyrics are totally different and their style also, i dont think that they can really be compared to any other band(i know).

Incredible lyrics, very inspirational. I love German music, in fact, I'm British and refuse to listen to any song that's in English. I don't like the English language in music, that's why I don't understand why Germans listen to English music, it sucks! German is more expressive than English.

PS if you like this, check out their song "Allein", it's definitely the best song ever!

My personal favorites are Rammstein, Die Prinzen, and Oomph. Rammstein is the most epic. They are famous internationally for their outlandish performances and moving, poetic lyrics. They've written songs in Russian, English, Spanish, and German!
