bTendo are working on a laser-based pico projector module. In this video we show the difference between a laser-based projector, and an LCoS based one. You can see the colors are much brighter on the laser projector.

  • The LCoS in this video is LED indeed, not laser. It's rather old, too, from about a year ago. LCoS has been advancing quickly for pico-projectors.

bTendo's LBS projectors are still not ready (bTendo is an Israeli startup, working on pico-p LBS based modules).

  • No, the Laser is on the right (the one with the better colors but the refresh-rate camera issue - which is not seen in real-life.

  • No way I own the AAXA L1 LCOS laser projector - there's no way the picture on the left is LCOS - unless you are referring to LCOS - white LED which is what the AAXA P1 is (I've owned that too). It's hard to tell with the refresh thing going on but LCOS laser projector's colors are vivid - probably just as good as the "Btendo". I have been waiting for laser projectors for a year now - is the "Btendo" available for sale??? I have never heard of Btendo before

  • simple question... Wheres mine!

  • LCos is on the right? Is the aaxa p1?
