Search for "Bob Landers - Cherokee Dance". It sounds remarkably similar to "Jesus Christ Twist" in both the singer's voice and lyrics, but it's about 50 years older.

It's really too bad that Mel Gibson didn't use this for the soundtrack of his zillion-dollar movie extravaganza, "The Passion of the Christ". And Rev. Beat-Man would've earned some massive royalties, which he deserves.
