they sell 250 in 2009 and you can register from them already today. It cost 50'000€ to register. The total price is 100'000€

lol this isn't scotland haha.. its in Switzerland :-P and it is like the only one in Europe.. so I was kinda lucky i would say lol.

I didn't even think they were shipping them out to California yet. Maybe someone from the factory in UK took it out for a extended drive.

Thats one hell of an extended drive :-P But I don't think there is even a UK factory, the car was left hand drive, this one might be imported straight from the US. I think it is the first one in Europe.

The Tesla Roadster is assembled at the Lotus factory near Norwich England accept for the battery pack which is installed in the U.S. or Europe depending on where final delivery is. Production began slowly in about mid March 2008 and will be ramping up over the next several months.
