  • Nice! You finally got the turbo engine in! 2.7L right? How does the car feel now? Are you finally giving those mean V8s a run for their money? ;)

And did I see that you went into 6th gear on the front straight? :O!

  • Yes, it is a 2.5L 951 engine. It doesn't feel all that different except it just keeps pulling and pulling and yes, I was using 6th for the first time ever.

  • Wow! You really do drop Mike on the straights! And you've also taken 5 seconds off my times there...!

  • I'd check your math. You did a 1:42.8 last year in the Sunday G1 race. Mike and my best times during this race where in the mid 41's. T10 is now a little faster too. You would have been right in the mix - IF you had been there.

  • Great Stuff E!!! Awesome, awesome..... Love the way it sounds too.... and as always... great driving... Congrats on the new setup...

  • Sorry for prying! Your car just sounded so sweet out there and you were flying down the straight! I cannot wait until next year... but I am gonna try to get to Pacific Raceways for the september race. Thanks again for the info!

  • Thats like asking a girl how much she weighs! For this race I was running 13.5-14 psi, should have been around 300 rwhp.

  • well, I mean boost, not HP. I don't want you to give too much away to your competitors;)

  • How much horsepower were you running this weekend?

  • Huh, so I did. I must've fixated on my Saturday times (1'44") and then I also thought your times on Sunday were in the 1'39" range.

And it's not like I didn't WANT to be there... :)
