Scenes from a garbage dump

Life in and around Phnom Penh's garbage dump. People who live and work here search for plastics and cans in order to resell to wholesalers who ship it to Vietnam for recycling.
On average people here earn between $1-$2 a day.
The heat is repressive and the smell is unmistakable.
The People Improvement Organization serves over 200 people and their families in this community.
