Thank you!! It's simple - now! Your instructions are the only ones I've found that are logical, simple, clear and repeatable. I was creating 45 mins worth of failure and frustration in trying to fit my visor before, now I'm down to a smug 2 secs. Thank you again. I've added visor system to safety, fit and finish as things I like about my Arai. Who'd have thought?! :oD

THANK YOU!!!! Your tips are the best ones I've seen yet. Just got my Arai today and had to attempt the visor change. I would suggest people wear their gloves when practicing this for the first time so the finger prints aren't a pain to clean off. I wrested with mine for a bit the first few times but after watching your video I had it off and on quickly with no problems.

Thank you! This is one of the best of all of the "how to change an Arai shield" videos. Nice detailed explanation. This, combined with the Arai website explanation of why the mechanism is designed this way, makes me appreciate Arai even more. I feel so much better about my Arai Quantum-2 now!

I HATE my Arai....worst shield to replace in the business. A lot of stores do not carry the replacement parts you need. It's a very comfortable helmet, fits my head good but I do not like the shields on these things

@dtsouza2519We understand why you can be frustrated with the system, IF you are not shown correctly byt the dealer you buy it from. We carry everything anyone could need for an Arai-610-960-2245...The shield system on the Arai's are done that way for a reason. The system is built on the outer surface of the shell to not compromise the EPS liner thickness as many other companies do. To build the recessed or flush system the EPS liner is made thinner. Or the shell is made bigger and wider...

...to accomodate the system. Arai does not and will compromise the integrity of the safety job the helmet is designed to do. The system is built on the surface only a few millimeters thick. This keeps the contour of the shell proportional and smooth. The system is that easy you can change the shield while the helmet is on your head. But you have to understand the simple motions to change it. People can make things as simple and as complicated as they want.
