The tiles do match up. For some songs you can really tell. Like once a sound happens in the song, a note comes up.
-
Dunno about you, but I absolutely loathe being 1 tile away from Clean Finish.
-
Yeah, it's not perfect, but I think it track and block layout is hugely dependent upon the tempo and intensity of the music. The mode you play also is a factor to consider. Fast songs work best for Mono, IMHO.
-
I always thought the tiles (or "cars" as they're called here) at least *tried* to match some aspects of the music.
-
the tiles dont go with the music the track of the course is of the music for example the more heavy a track is the course will head down hill but the more light it is the song will go up
-
it is really fun game it is pretty awesome
-
Hot damn, that's fast-paced.
-
lol in the description you can get it up to
OVER 9000 !!!
-
You are supposed to match the colors up in ether rows or columns. Hotter colors such as red are worth more points.
I don't get it. You hit random tiles... At random time.

Also, there are several different ways to play: Mono, where you hit only colored tiles and avoid greys (harder than it sounds).

oh cmon JS, are you seriously trying to imply that you can't handle this on the higher difficulties with your sweet ass SHMUP bullet dodging? :P

The easier difficulties are actually more finesse-oriented than the high difficulties. Instead of ramming a sea of blocks, when playing as the Pointman, you mostly dodge the "cool" blocks while picking up the "hot" blocks. Then once you hold a hot paint icon, go crazy and fill up your well as much as possible, then unleash paint to turn all your tiles into the hot colors for big points.
