Shark can feel electric impulses and he is often observing the camera just becouse it, but I have enough experiences - when he is observing it, he put it into mouth, slightly press by teeth. But this is different situation. In this case you can see the speed - mistake was on our side, shark was attacking because of the diver just above him diving down directly towards the shark. It probably felt it as exposure.
