Following on from the "Berneray Regatta" video, this more sombre travelogue begins at the Beautiful Beasdaire beach and shows Berneray in its "mantle so green" . The track is by Capercaillie and features on "The Blood is Strong" CD and also on "A Prince among Islands." The song was composed by Duncan MacLeod of Berneray.

  • @themikeymac55 Berneray. is a small island in the Sound of Harris between the Isle of Harris to the north and North Uist to the south ( to which it is now connected by a causeway) Latitude: 57º 42'N Longitude: 07º 10'W . It is famous as the birthplace of Angus MacAskill, the Cape Breton Giant (1825-1863), of Englishtown, Cape Breton Island.
