MURRAY COD FISHING.lures and bait

I went out fishing for golden perch but got hammered all day by cod :). It is cod breeding season and targeting murray cod is prohibited,Murray Cod fishing is banned in september,october,november.If they are caught accidentally release unharmed immediately back into the water.

Hey Reg they should call you the cod master man you got it down pat. Loved the video theyre some cracker cod there only wish fishing up this way was like that, like you though I think this will be a pearler of a summer for natives. Actually found the natives to be more on the bite over winter this end then they have been lately. We were averaging 8 or so yellowbelly a cod and 8-10 carp most trips to Wyangala mid winter.

@taipan342 cheers mate :) might have something to do with the amount of time i spend on the water. the river is only across the road and the channel too so is hard to keep away from them. yella's are hard to find here at the momoent but will come on the chew soon as the water warms i hope . always bloody carp somewhere ??? good stuff mate luv all your films, started filming my fishing but every time i hook the camera up i dont catch nothing lol bad luck i think , got myself a nice 74 cm cod day before australia day very nice fish, he went back swimming tho to good of fish to keep i say. A bloke pulled out a 1100 cod out the other week in Howlong ,he kept it the d#@k head , Hope to get some film to share with you vheers , keep them coming ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,­,,,
