As for Peter's being the first Pope there is no question to anybody who has ever read a history book that he was not since no where in the bible is such a statement made. Of course with a mentality that supports such things as the Inquisition I would not expect you to know anything beyond the lies of your church.

@canuckleful Just so you know, everything this video presents is ahistorical nonsense. Nothing like this ever happened in the Inquisition. The Inquisition was so fair and the prisons so comfortable that secular criminals would often feign heresy to get into them. It helps to know a little history before you assume all the movies represent anything but imagination.

@truvianni You're absolutely wrong. Until the schism of the 11th Century A.D. the Eastern Church was a part of the Catholic Church, subject to Rome. There is no question that Peter was the first pope. You're deluded and ill informed.

@megaead69 actually what you are saying is a common falsehood. The first Christian church was the Greek Orthodox church and not the Roman Cathelic.The first version of the New Testament as a matter of fact was written in Greek not Latin.

@MartyJSwizzle true but if you really look at the "Holy" Inquisition it was not about saving souls but about taking the wealth and land of people for the church so basically it was about the church's desire to make money and nothing else. Btw it is even a sin to call it holy because the bible says the word holy should only be used for God and nothing or no one else.
