Using a Mac Tools HVLP spray gun...The paint is a Ford 2K matched Candy Apple Red. Single Stage Acrylic Enamel. I'm the one spraying the truck. No, I don't usually dress like this in public, but remember SAFETY FIRST!! Please comment

  • @luck14ful This was a MAC TOOLS gun with, i think, a 1.4 tip. Around 25psi but if I could do it again I would crank it up to 35psi to even further limit the orange peel in the finish.

  • The man can paint!

  • dude u should paint those small parts first and after that paint the truck

  • @MrTyacre Here is one tip for you. You always edge your panels as you go first to make sure you don't leave bare areas. If you don't you will have to go back over and use more paint and maybe cause a run. I have seen guys paint a complete car and have to go back to edge it, because there is dry spraying that they had to fix with more paint.

  • Would you write down the steps for a first timer? I don't want to mess up my 71.
