**The series of concerts from 12/26 to 12/29 for the People of Kampuchea at Hammersmith Odeon were to raise money for the victims of Pol Pot's reign of terror in Cambodia. The event was organized by Paul McCartney and Kurt Waldheim (who was then Secretary-General of the UN).

i saw just about every major act in concert...and i usually sat in the first 5 rows...my brother is a ticket broker...

and one of the worst shows i ever saw was michael jackson's "bad" tour

it was like a cheesy las vegas review...after three songs he did the same dance moves over and over and he faked crying when singing a ballad...really insulting

he sucked and is overhyped...

freddie destroyed him on stage..not even close
