I think Dead Space 1 is superior. Mainly because it was original and "new". Dead Space 2 is more gory and looks better but a lot of it we'd seen before in DS1. Plus you don't know what you're dealing with in DS1 whereas DS2 you know all about Necromorphs, Unitology and the Marker. You expect freaky stuff in DS2!

If they make DS3 then i think they'll have to make big changes to stop it from being "samey"

@appspy so having said that about hating the horror genre of anything games and movies I don't get scared so not a thrill but I find my movement and shooting speed and ammo to be a problem in the console version. So is it the same here? Should I avoid this one since I find clunky controls to be frustrating not fun or scary would this Be fun still or just annoying nothing scares me in horror never has I find it funny in movies cheap tricks and annoying in games like I hated the RE series for the

Not much into anything horror genre period I think it all stupid cheap thrills like limiting ammo and movement speed cripple the shit out of the player and pit them against a fast deadly foe quickly turns to more frustration then fun yet ppl eat it up as scary instead of just dumb gameplay mechanics to insite fear it fails4me but I'm on Xanax so I'm never scared unless i run out but that and things popping up not scary
