Hell is a condition, not a place of eternal torment. A careful study of the Bilble reveals that Hell=Grave. The grave being evidence of death. Once you are dead, body and soul, you will return to the dust, and never have conscious existance again.

The churches used the place of 'hell' as a bat to beat people over the head with. Join the church, and we will keep you out of hell. Sorry church, the jig is up!! Christ will save His Chosen Ones's, and there is NO place of eternal torture!

@WitnessoftheTruth So what about where Jesus describes eternal fire in Matthew 25:41 and Mark 9:48, or the description of the final judgment in Revelation 20:11-14?

@Chris, Jude 7, gives us the definition of 'eternal fire'. Are Sod & Gom still burning today? No! But the destruction was permanent. Those folks were gone forever. God's Judgment will be eternal, there is no coming back. But, there was a limit to physical punishment. God's Law, which also binds God, stated man could be beaten with 40 stripes, but NO more. Man cannot be beaten forever! (con't)

@WitnessoftheTruth Funny, I missed the Bible verses which had those exact, specific dates. I guess when Jesus said that no man knows the day or hour, He really meant the exact opposite, that there are men who know the day or hour.

@Fill, Only the spiritually dead, which is most of mankind (so don't feel bad), do not know the hour of the Lord's return. Yes, they hear May 21, 2011 being proclaimed in the market place (broadcast in 53 languages world wide), but because they are a spiritual corpse, they are unable to respond (Je 6:10). Pray for the Lord to give you ears to hear. Biblical Truth is offensive to most folks. The Bible proclaims man is powerless, and is 100% at the Lord's mercy.

@Fill, God's Law Book, the Holy Bible, binds every person who was ever born. There is no escape. Claiming you are an atheist, or a Jew, or some other religion, will not excuse you from the Judgment the Lord has planned for ALL mankind. Thinking you can excuse yourself, does not make it so. On May 21, 2011, the 7,000 anniversary of the Nochian Flood, the Lord will indeed return, as promised, to destroy ALL those He has not chosen to save.
