Deacetylation removes acetyl groups from histone tails, causing the histones to wrap more tightly around the DNA and interfering with the transcription of genes by blocking access by transcription factors. The overall result of histone deacetylation is a global (non specific) reduction in gene expression. Histone Deacetylase involved in a series of pathway in the living system.

  • Throughout the video, shown DNA is left-handed. That's wrong. You should mirror all of your frames.

  • wrong? what do u understand by the word " wrong" ? this is a video using schematic figures ... trying to explain the " concept" . so all u saw was this one only fault in this video? uhm i dont think so... the color, protein shapes, binding places etc. doesn't match the reality ... still thanks for mentioning this point , people may search for it and make them curious.....
