@RepaleoN it's not going for the center of the aircraft. It is going after the heat of the aircraft's skin and not it's engines or flares. If the aircraft was directly in front or behind the missile, the missile would just pop up and try to strike the middle of the aircraft. These tests are showing the missile in 40g turns at mach 3 and are striking the drones in the center because they are not in perfect lineup with the striking aircraft. Sometimes they were on the side or directly below.
