every fucking time I listen to this song, I count my lucky stars that I own it on vinyl and CD sticky fingers truly one of the best albums ever created
:)

I remember I was backstage at a concert & I asked Mick Taylor if he was a member of The Yardbirds & him & his buddy started yelling at me. This was at a Blues Festival in Long Beach in 1999.

@MrTephama maybe by a hair, but this is one helluva great album. Saying what you said is kinda like saying that Are You Experienced and Electric LadyLand are better than Axis: Bold as Love. Axis is still mind bendingly good and so is Sticky Fingers.
-
It could also be a subtle (???) inside joke reference to his design for the Velvet Underground and Nico's first album cover.
-
@keeffan49 The title actually refers to how ones fingers would feel after rolling a joint of potent cannabis. The cover image was designed by Andy Warhol, and probably reflects his perception of Mick Jagger as a sex symbol.

Stones' best album.

is the title and cover a reference to wanking? the album is called sticky fingers, and the cover is a picture of dude with a boner... Love the album though!
I just can't believe how great Sticky Fingers is. 40 years later it still sounds amazing.

Mick Taylor played most of the lead's in their songs when he was with them. Also played bass when Bill Wyman was a no show.. Great guitarist through and through... They were never as good after he left.
