@seanUKfan don't forget that one of the 7 (in 1949) had point shavers arrested in 1951 for that season. Alex Groza, Ralph Beard and Dale Barnstable were arrested for taking money from gamblers to shave points during the 1948-49 season. Ironically, the Wildcats won their second straight national title in that season. How come they got to keep the title if they we doing illegal activity?
