The OHM 64 is the savior
Finally a serious midi controller!

well it is really just showing the openness of the Ohm and the possibilities. Not that you would want to have it display text, but you can make it do whatever you want it to.

nice, but what is it usefull for

my question is can i use the button matrix like i would a monome? will it work with any max/msp?
no matter what, this is a smooth piece of gear.

Yes to both. The editor application to change the midi assignments is also written in max, and we provide the source code.

yeah, I dont know if this video impresses me or makes me worry. I could care less about what the controller looks like, except if you coul actually control those leds like fully controllable white LEDs and they could generate any color. That said, this is no doubt an impressive pice of equipment, but why the downgrade from Union to CellDNA? I need Union....

who said DNA is a downgrade?
lividTV 2 years ago
well, it sells for less, and Union seems to have far more effects and source/exports. I'm not complaining, just wondering about info I cant seem to find on the website.
Does CellDNA have a real-time text editor? Can it export QT movies?
TheRealCritique 2 years ago
DNA is the latest and greatest of the software offerings from us. It has different features, but performance is better. You can't render QT files but it does have text capabilities.
