I helped organize a health care town hall meeting in Los Angeles in conjunction with Rep. Waxman's office during June. The event was intended to inform folks about the bill that was taking shape in the House at that time. It was disrupted by PDA members using rude tactics like the Teabaggers. All the progressives who helped organize that event want nothing to do with PDA. Great movement building!

Thanks, John. Sorry to have missed Wisconsin. To address the comments about language (I sympathize) - healing this nation is the job we citizens must undertake now - and it requires the correct diagnosis. Healthcare Not Warfare still strikes me as the best three-word diagnosis any group has offered - and it should span the political spectrum, as we all have fragile bodies that heal with care and hurt with war.

Just real tired of wars and rumors of war ... fighting, and more fighting, and all that goes with it.
Maybe it is because I am so old ... just wish we could get to the point of civil discourse, without the threats, etc.

'Healthcare not warfare" and then you proceed to talk about "fighting" a (war) that you have already predicted the outcome of .... only civil human beings are ... well, civilized!
