It's very funy but I have the impression that people don't realize that the Augeries, pinedas, peres, smiths or whatever the substitute singers names are ..... they are all tribute singers to the " MAN, the VERY SOUND OF JOURNEY ...STEVE PERRY" .. the rest is history.

The "rejected demo" thing is a rumor started by a racist & immature Pineda supporter. Some Pineda supporters are a__holes, just as some Perry supporters. Pineda is good. Perry's a legend. Known as one of the greatest & strongest voices in history. He out sang many singers still going in their 70's & 80's. Absurd to think Perry 'has lost it'. He didn't lose his voice. He lost his will to sing. Big difference. Arguments such as posted below are pointless. When Perry gets his will back, we'll see.

I think he sounds great....but, this tour was cancelled because he had severe bronchitis. Sounds pretty good, for a 45 yr old with a bad chest condition!

I have checked videos of Soto and Augeri and I did not see attacks as virulent as attacks on Arnel Pineda (most were personal, racist and untrue). Other than being bigot, racist or just being stupid, there is no reason why they express their hatred towards Pineda. And they pose as if they know better than Schon or Cain.

Seperate Ways 83 clip Steve sounds amazing live but here in 94...he's about done people! You can lie to yourselves as much as you want. Steve Perry here is in his 40's...the same age of AP now! He obviously can't reach the high notes anymore & this was 1994 people. There will NEVER be another Perry but I think Arnel Pineda has resurected Journey today.
