I grew up in garden suburbs off hollins road, then after moving away and back again, I lived in bardsley off ashton road. I have very fond memories, some bad but mostly good. I worked while at oldham college at burger king, drank in the grapes, danced at henry afrikas and bought kebabs from '91'........yum.

This is not a racist comment just an observation.

The worst areas tend to be the Asian areas, sorry but its true, very few properties in Asian areas are looked after. and mess on the streets is overlooked.
