the anime was based on the novel that was written way back before the manga yamato yamamato who is in charge of the continuity of the manga version added a little shounen to it., i like both the novel and the manga.

and plus the novel is really close to the jouzawa juu universe(benika's son)

@StrawberryLovesPara there is no law stating that an anime must be as close as possible to the manga... disregarding that fact the characters don't look too bad imo... I mean seriously... who gives a shit if they do or don't... it doesn't change the story in the anime... and even if the story is different than the manga... it doesn't make the story in the anime any worse than what it is. You'll probably find yourself enjoying anime more if you stop comparing it to the manga.

This anime is ok. awesome feeling of character of that little girl i forgot her name but I watch this anime(in Japanese Subtitle English) long time ago before 2007 it first getting on the net week by week each EP something like that during that time it was new like raw first getting Subtitle.
