Hi everyone :) Some people have asked if they could cut the lace to the exact shape of the nail before attaching it. The answer is of course--I tried doing that originally, but I found it was easier to trim around the nail once the lace was already dried onto my nail. Also, keep in mind that this is is SUPER zoomed in pic, so you can see every little natural fluctuation in the lace. It looks much neater from a normal distance :)

what if you painted the bottom layer black, then used the lace only as a template and painted the teal over it, you'd have a very similar effect but 2 dimensional

@lehcar4201 Try it and let me know how it goes! I did something similar with my Slytherin Snake Skin video--painted a black base and put a piece of mesh and painted over it. My guess is that it would work to some extent, but it might be a bit trickier to manage. Would be cool though if it works!
