  • @dragon2060 weapon control and loads of training, Sir.

  • @zukuru even with loads of training you can miss and mess up and than some one gets A SWORD IN THE CHEST even real solder at their time used wood swords so if they messed up they would be fine and wouldn't kill the guy their fighting with

  • @dragon2060 we use blunt aluminum blades ....

  • Nice fight, you guys should do more 2v1s and how about a group vs group battle, would be fun =P.

  • bhbhhbhbbbbhhhhh,

hard to do - not really possible with Alu weapons..

Single fighter needs to nail one down.

Will test ist double stick vs Stick´n Knife,

  • @Orowam They're letting him 'live' on purpose of-course. In a real all out fight you'd just close as soon as his back is turned and that be the end of it. Training like that work to build reflexes and confidence, not to simulate how it actually turn out if everybody tried to murder each other.

  • @dragon2060 Not like they put any power into these blows, as far as sparring goes I'd not be surprised if people in the old days even sparred with sharp weapons. If you read about early knight tournaments you know just how insane the violent nobles of Europe really were. People just agreed where to meet and played a game of 'kidnap anyone you can beat into submission' holding each other for ransom unless they got killed in the process. A Tournament were like a agreed upon mini-war.

  • @Tralfagal i do know aluminum i just did not think of it at the time

  • The double langes messer fighter was good, don't get me wrong, but i have a feeling he was the elite compared to the other two which factored alot into the epicness involved lol

  • @dragon2060 the tips are actually rounded.

  • @dragon2060 : Steel training swords were also used in medieval europe in many occasions.

Really most Greek training was rigorous because they were standing armies.

  • @dragon2060: I do it all the time. It's called Historical European Martial Arts. I wasn't being an asshole, I was telling you what they are called. Also the tips are rounded.

  • @Halofreakanoid true that like spartan training was brutal as shit so i bet they used the real deal in weapons lol

  • @Halofreakanoid let me swing a blunt sword at you and see what happens and the tips are still sharp and shit happens you dont need to be an ass hole i was just asking
