The Mayan dating system predicts the end of the world to be December 21st 2012 A.D.

This date coincides with the astronomical alignment of the Sun with the center of our galaxy and of the earth completing a 26 thousand year cycle.

It is a time of great change. Mankind will be entering a new plane of existence. A rebirth.

The best way to prepare for this is to forgive and make peace with everything and everyone around you.

By this I mean offer help and kindness to anyone that needs it and do not get caught up in an overtly material existence.

This passage is one of the soul to another dimension. It is where all that matters is who you are as a person. Not what you own. Not who the world perceives you to be. But of who you are deep down inside.
