@mikthepainter The Domino Effect was by Zerra One. Similar band. Except Zerra One tried to be the next U2. These guys apparently were the next Simple Minds.
@upfrontbear74 deffo remember them doing it on some rte show back about 88?, just after they announced a tour supporting ac/dc, could be wrong though, took me 3 hours to work out what age i am last week
big minds fan but as soon as i heard this band they blew me away - got the shades of liberty tape - put it onto a minidisc but could do with them releasing a cd - go on guys you know it makes sense
I too saw them supporting Simple Minds in June of 1984. Bought the album, got it signed by all band members at HMV in Oxford Street - still got it. Been hoping for a CD version - this is the first time I've heard this for over 10 years (no record player) and was still able to sing along to all the words - thanks so much for posting.
No martybimps?? I didnt say i was,or thought i was Charlie from Simple Minds,I said i liked Silent Runnings`album `Shades of Liberty`,if you didnt like them, thats your call, but you wanna start a slagging match bout Simple Minds, then you know where you can go..saw SM more times than you probably went to school...Idiot
