A short film of the MASS Private View, Brighton. Curated by shardcore and Sam Hewitt, MASS is the largest installation of contemporary portraiture in Brighton, open free to the public 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th of May 2008. MASS features 58 paintings by 27 artists displayed in an Art Deco Church in Preston Village.
Our private view features congregational recitals of 'Faith' by George Michael and 'Losing My Religion' by REM.
The poet Michael James Parker preaches his unique gospel to the assembled congregation.
