Two songs performed live by Britain's best Soul singer at Beeb's Top of The Pops, october 1965. Don't Play That Song, the Ben E. King's classic, is unique because Lulu never released it on disc. After that, Lulu is interviewed by the host Brian Matthew and she talks about her tour with Peter & Gordon and her new single. The more interesting thing is that she tells us that the version of Try to Understand released on the single (with piano) has not The Luvvers as her band. So, this makes this BBC guitar-version, unique too. Enjoy! Leonardo Conde, Rio, Brasil. (stills: google)
I wonder why 'Don't Play That Song' doesn't appear on the Complete Decca Recordings?

@ThisIsRuthie Because it was recorded at the BBC (and just for broadcast), not at Decca studios,
