Such a negative perspective, just focusing on the consumption of man and ignore the productivity, charity, nurturing and improvement. I realize it would be more difficult to show the love one can create in 50 years but why not try?

Another excellent video. I think this won because it's more subtle, but yet literal. papaering over the cracks, painting over problems. Short term lazy fixes are what we do as humans, both personally, and on the biggest scales. This vid captures that perfectly.
