Lets please remember this is not a who has the best voice competition but a glorification of the message send down by the supreme creator Allah . Its important we try and understand the meaning of the surah being recited

Hajjaj hindavi & all other third rated can never compete Qari Abdul basit Muhammad Abdus Samad. Its quite a clumsy mimicry.

aashiqERasul sahib i am also a gud imitator of qari abdul basit and i am listening to qari abdul basit since 20 years i knew every style of qari abdul basit this is not even close to that. not ups and downs not talafuz nothing but the got his own style and its madni style. qari abdul basit was a qari of saba ashra. abudurehman sadien can imitate gud

Can someone please tell me where this sheikh will be performing next or where i can find out. I am in the UK and am a great fan of al hajjaj but have never seen him live......i am prepared to travel anywhere....may allah bless his soul and of those who listen to this awesome recitation

i don't know how you compare him to Qari Basit .... he sounds nothing like him but he still sounds very good to me Alhamdulilah.. reason I say you shouldn't compare the two their sounds are very very different

it would be very sad if he change his style now. There are a lot of People who choose Basit Style. He got his own style and its really good.

however Qur'an comes first, if you don't read qur'an and pray Salah, what's the point of listening to naats?
because you can't increase your love for the prophet without obeying his commands about Salah and Qur'an!
