He came from Essex, in case you couldn't tell. His given name was Ian and his songs have lasted well....I remember having a drink with him in the Holiday Inn in Plymouth after a gig in about 1976. Great Guy. Oh and the Glastonbury Gig was brilliant too. Still got the T shirt somewhere.

I was in the front row when he sung this at Glastonbury. I remember when he first came out the lights went down and then they turned the laser on behind him with all the smoke and started playing...fantastic
