Flood Water at Harrisburg,PA

Here is a view of the Susquehanna River flood looking east. Notice that the water is almost up to the Market Street bridge in the right side of the video. The river is suppose to crest by saturday, so the water will be rising even more. Also, notice down below that the river is up over Front St. in Wormleysburg. This was shot in Negley Park on the west shore, 9/8/11.

Oh the positives of owning waterfront property, it really must suck when that same water ends up in your front yard. I still can't believe it was actually this bad by Harrisburg, I wonder how many feet Rockville had that stayed dry?

@AliceInChains243 The entire area next to the river was flooded. I tried to make it to the Bridgeview, but that road was closed. I'm sure it was under water though. I was told there were washouts on the Port Raod as well, cause it was shut down.

They still haven't repaired that bridge?

@pahogger Well that would make a lot of sense, since the Bridgeview itself was under for quite some time! I hope the damage there isn't that bad, even though it's pretty hard for it not to be. It's unfortunate that for all of the money that was spent to make that place as good as it is now has to be spent just to rehab it. And as for the Port Road, at least the half of the Shocks Mill Bridge didn't get taken out this time around!
