The kid was right, the parents were wrong. That was an F-1 tornado and it was caught on camara too.

I have been trying to link in comment another youtube video of the tornado in jc but for some weird and strange irony... youtube wont let you post youtube links in comments....... lol. so I am re uploading it so I can post it as a video response... so silly to have to do all that to post a video in comment.

The winds there could have been from the RFD (Rear Flank Downdraft)? but there def was short lived tornado in Johnson city I think the NWS gave it a E-f1 rating I am not sure I only saw the news for brief moment while on break at work. Nice job on catching this video.
